High Plains Basketball Tournament Championship Tonight @ 5:45PM @ OPSU. Felt/Yarbrough Boys vs OBA (Oklahoma Bible Academy) We need a loud crowd! Need a ride? We’ll take a van, we’ll take a bus, we’ll take whatever it takes to get you there! We will leave the school at 4:45PM. It costs $3 for students & $5 for adults. We should be back to the school by 8:00PM. Help spread the word…Spirit Bus @ 4:45PM Come & Cheer…Loud & Proud!

Two Changes:
(1) Moved Veterans Day program to Tuesday, Nov. 14.
(2) Added NHS Can Food Drive Nov. 6 through Nov. 17.
NHS is sponsoring a Can Food Drive: Monday, Nov. 6th through Friday, Nov. 17th. If you would like to donate non-perishable food items, please drop them by the office.

November Activity Calendar
Yarbrough Environmental Science students visited Helms Garden Shop and picked up some nice plants for the school greenhouse.
Congratulations to our High School Academic Team on winning their first tournament of the year. On Wednesday, Oct. 4, Yarbrough School hosted the Oklahoma Red Carpet Academic Conference quiz bowl tournament, which involved teams from Felt, Boise City, Texhoma, Turpin, Hooker, and Yarbrough. Our team went 5 and 0 to sweep the tournament and win 1st Place. It was a great start to the year. The 23-24 team members are Emily W., Kaylee G., Brandy L., Lizzy D., Alan N., Maddie W. (captain), Stetson N., and Jesse B. They are coached by Mrs. Sydni Smith. We would like to thank Mrs. Smith, Mrs. Boaldin, Mrs. Garcia, Mrs. McGaughy, Ms. Knelssen, Mr. Wiggin, Mrs. Nave, and Mrs. Wiggin for helping with the tournament and making it a huge success. On Monday, October 9, Yarbrough will be hosting the OSSAA District Quiz Bowl tournament. Good luck at districts Lobos!!!
